It measures 14.5 x 5.5 x 1.75 inches, which is similar to other tenkeyless keyboards like the Corsair K70 RGB TKL but larger than even more compact keyboards like the Razer Blackwidow V3 Mini. The Drop CTRL comes with a variety of linear, tactile, and clicky switch options. Drop clearly designed this keyboard with typists in mind rather than gamers, as the linear option is currently limited to Kaihua (Kailh) Speed Silver. Fans of tactile switches have three options: Cherry MX Brown RGB, as well as Drop’s own Halo Clear and Halo True switches. Choose between Cherry MX Blue RGB and Kailh (Kaihua) Box Whites for a clicky typing experience. If you choose the “build your own” option with Drop’s Mech Keys Builder, the options expand to include a few other options at an additional cost, but you’ll have to install the switches yourself. This may not be a big deal if you don’t mind pressing them into place, but it’s something to think about if you’d rather unbox it and get to work right away.
