The Tile Mate, Tile Slim, and Tile Sticker all have the same features, but offer different designs depending on their intended use. The Tile Mate is a chunky square with a hole in one corner so you can use it as a keychain, and it’s sturdy enough to put in a pocket. The Tile Slim is the size of a credit card, so it fits perfectly in your wallet or passport case. The Tile Sticker is a small, circular tracker with an adhesive area on the back that you can stick to your headphone case or a TV remote. All three trackers have a lifespan of up to three years thanks to their non-replaceable battery. Once you register one of these trackers in your account, you can locate it using the Tile app on your iOS or Android smartphone. If the item is within 250 meters, the tracker should start ringing to help you locate it. If it is further away, the Tile tracker will register as lost. The “Find far away” feature displays Tile’s last known location on a map, and the location can be updated using the “Notify when found” option. This feature uses Tile’s global network and various network extensions to update Tile’s location when other users pass by.
