How to Delete Netflix watch history
To delete your Netflix viewing history, you need to go to your account on the (newly designed) Netflix website. Do this by hovering over your name in the top right corner and then clicking Your Account in the menu. Note: Please make sure you are logged in to your own user profile before proceeding. If you use someone else’s profile on your account, their viewing activity will be displayed instead.
Netflix’s account settings are really just a giant stack of links, so scroll until you find Viewing Activity under the My Profile section.
Once you’re here, keep an eye out for the X next to any title you’ve recently streamed on Netflix. Click the X next to the title you want to remove and Netflix will remove it without warning. If you delete a TV show and click the X next to a specific episode you are watching, Netflix will ask you if you want to delete the entire series after that episode. To do this, click on Delete series? to remove every episode you have watched from your viewing activity. Unfortunately, Netflix doesn’t allow your entire viewing activity to be automatically cleared at once, so you’ll have to go through and delete specific shows and movies. If you really need a clean slate, you can always create a new account.
How to Delete Netflix ratings
If you want to reset a rating for one of your shows, you can use this option in the same way View activity page. Notice the toggle in the top right corner and click Review instead of Watch. This will display a list of TV shows and movies that you have rated, along with the rating.
You can change the rating for each by clicking the stars or clicking the X next to a title to delete the rating and start over. This is especially helpful if you think that a movie or TV show you have rated in a certain way is inappropriately influencing what Netflix recommends. Since ratings apply to full TV shows and not individual episodes, deleting one rating automatically affects the entire series.
