1. Check your version

Repeat the same steps on all computers where you want to use Mouse Without Limits and try again. Close and restart the app to check if it works on different computers.
6. Enter IP manually
Mouse Without Borders uses the IP address of your Wi-Fi network to connect to other computers running on the same network. Sometimes the app cannot detect the correct IP settings leading to this error.
Launch the Run prompt by pressing Windows key + R on your keyboard and type cmd to open the command prompt.
Do not use the browser to find your IP. Type the command below into the command prompt and press Enter. ipconfig Write down the IPv4 address from the results. Repeat the steps for each computer.
Open the Mouse Without Borders app and click the IP Assignments tab. Enter the name of each computer followed by the IP address on a new line.
Note that you must enter the IPv4 address and computer name of the remote or slave computer on the primary or host computer. Return to the Machine Setup tab and click Apply to restart the connection process. If successful, you should see Connected written under the name of the remote computer.
If Mouse Without Borders stops working in the future, click Apply button again to establish a new connection. That’s a known issue with the app.
7. Synergy
