1. Clear the Store App Cache
If the Windows Store crashes on startup or while performing usual tasks like search, clearing the cache should probably patch things up up right away. Redundant or obsolete data are the most obvious culprits. In practice, you have two ways to clear the cache: by running the Windows Store Reset command or by manually deleting the cache files yourself. Only use the manual method if the Windows Store Reset command doesn’t work. Step 1: Open the Start menu, type wsreset and click Open.

After re-registering with the Windows Store, check if the app starts without crashing. If not, then move on to the next solution.
5. Set the correct time
Yes, you read that right – time. If your system time is different from the one on the Microsoft servers, you can expect all kinds of weird issues to surface. And since the Store requires an internet connection, don’t be surprised if you find it crash if your PC’s time is out of sync. To solve such problems, you need to set the time correctly. Step 1: Right-click the clock in the system tray, then click Adjust Date / Time.
Step 2: Select the correct time zone, then turn on the switch next to Set time automatically. You should enable that option if you are unsure of your correct time zone. Alternatively, you can always set the time yourself (click Change under Change date and time). However, it is recommended that you let the operating system do this for you automatically and is not prone to errors. Note: Sometimes you may see an incorrect time on your PC even if the Set time automatically switch is turned on and your time zone is set up correct. 6. Install Media Feature Pack
Are you using a non-standard Windows 10 edition without the media features (largely due to legal obligations)? You can download and install the Media Feature Package from the Microsoft site to your PC. Download media Feature Pack On the download page, make sure to select the correct version of Windows 10.

Note: If you are unsure of the correct version of your Windows 10 installation, type winver in the Start menu and press Enter. 7. Run SFC scan
You have already gone through many repairs. If the Windows Store still crashes on startup then you should consider running an SFC scan. SFC, short for ‘System File Checker’, scans the entire system for underlying problems and fixes problems that cannot be solved by reasonable means. Step 1: Type Command Prompt in the Start menu and click Run as administrator.
Step 2: Type the following command and press Enter. sfc / scannow
The SFC scan may take up up to an hour, or even more, to complete. Restart your PC after the scan is complete. Hopefully that should have resolved any issues that prevented the Store app from working properly.
