1. Multi Forward for Gmail
It is a Chrome extension that works on all Chromium powered browsers such as Chrome and Brave. Click the link below to open the Chrome Store download page in a new tab and install the extension. Download Multi Forward for Gmail If I’m not sure how to do it, click on the blue button that says Add to Chrome. The button name depends on the browser you are using.
Open Gmail and search for emails you need to send in bulk. You can search the sender’s names, email address, or even the subject of Gmail. Select as many emails as you need and you should see a black forwarding icon in the Gmail UI, next to other Gmail buttonsIt is the same icon that you will also see next to all the extensions you have installed in your browser.
Click it once to make a pop-up You will be asked to provide the necessary permissions to open and forward multiple emails in Gmail. Click on Log in.
Click Next in the popupup that follows to continue.
You may need to re-enter your Gmail email ID or password.
You will now see a pop-up where you can add email IDs of anyone you want to bulk forward emails to. You can enter multiple recipients here. There is a limit of 25 emails, so you cannot send more than that at one time. Still better than sending them one by one.
2. Forward multiple email via cloudHQ
If the first extension doesn’t work for you, there is another extension that can forward multiple emails in Gmail. Receive multiple email forwarding via cloudHQ as if you had other extensions installed. Find and select all the emails you’d like to forward in Gmail. You will see a new black forward icon, just like in the previous extension. Click here.
You will see several options here. They speak for themselves. You can send all selected emails or just the emails that match the search. You can also send all selected emails as PDF or EML attachments. Choose an option.
You will be asked to create an account. You will see a pop-up with an option to sign in with your existing Gmail ID. Use that.
Give cloudHQ permission by clicking Allow.
Enter the email IDs you want to forward the selected emails to. Click Forward Emails button when done.
You will see a message that emails are being forwarded. You can click the extension icon to check the status. You can also close the tab or even shut down your computer at this point. cloudHQ claims that the forwarding will continue. I forwarded some emails in Gmail and immediately closed the tab and indeed emails started pouring in in seconds.
You can close the dialog box if you want. It works like a charm. The free version has a limit of 50 emails and background forwarding does not work. 3. Gmail filters
This is a bit of a hit and miss – it worked for me, however. Gmail filters seem to work for some users. Even if this works, there is a risk that it will also forward spam emails that meet the forwarding criteria. Here’s how it works. You can further customize it based on your requirements. Click the gear icon to select Settings.
Click on Create a new filter under the Filters and blocked addresses tab.
Enter the email ID of the emails you want to forward in the From field. To ensure that spam emails are not forwarded, you can further refine the search results by words that are always included in the email (such as a signature) or words which are never included.
Additional filter options include attachments and email size. You can always adjust the filter based on the results you get. Click Create filter when you are done.
Enable Forwarding and also apply filter to matching call options on the next screen and click Add forwarding address to enter the email ID you want to forward these emails to. Please note that the filter will only work for new emails that you will receive in the future and not for old emails already in your Gmail inbox.
