Step 2: Enable the Use custom notifications option on the next page. Now you will see a number of options. All you need to do now is choose the settings that work best for you. We will mute the group permanently, but feel free to adjust the settings as needed.
Step 3: The first option is to select the Notification tone. Select that and choose from the options None and press OK.
Step 4: You can even turn off your device so that it doesn’t give you any kind of alerts for that group. First up, open the Vibrate option and select Off. Follow it up using the Pop-up notification option and select No popupup from the given options.
That’s all! It doesn’t matter how many messages the members keep throwing at you, you won’t get a notification from that group. However, you can see the content without any problems.
