The only seemingly hidden feature is the ability to skip songs by double-clicking the play button. This is perfect when you’re jamming in the shower and a song that kills the mood comes on. You can’t go back to the previous song, though, so skip wisely! The sound quality of the Clip 4. The bass is impressive for the size of the speaker, and the overall sound is rich. The volume range is wide and will meet most needs. The JBL Clip 4 is perfect for the beach or pool. The IP67 rating means that solids like dirt and sand won’t harm it, and it’s waterproof enough for most standard uses. More specifically, it will survive being submerged under water for at least half an hour. As long as you don’t try to dive with this speaker, you should be fine. Just rinse it with fresh water after using it in a pool, lake, or the ocean. This speaker is easy to pack and take with you. Clip it to your backpack for a day hike or to your belt loop for a barbecue. The clip is sturdy, yet easy to open. JBL claims that this speaker can run for 10 hours. Battery life depends on volume, but overall the JBL Clip 4 seems to have a solid battery. The appearance of the clip on the JBL Clip 4 is much improved over its predecessor. While the clip on the JBL Clip 3 seemed to protrude from the top of the case, the clip on the new model is integrated into the case, resulting in a much sleeker look. Some height was sacrificed in the update to provide more width. A recessed channel houses the arm of the clip when the shutter is opened. This allows you to use more of the clip’s height, as the arm no longer interferes as easily. The clip looks good and works well.
